Fiqa’s high-quality products are durable and guaranteed to last a long lifespan. Our fabrics are a 100% polyester mono-material which allows for the fabrics to be easily recycled. We also strive to make the manufacturing process as eco-friendly as possible by using no water to dye our yarns and thus preserving one of nature’s most valuable resources. Additionally, our products meet the strict requirements to be OEKO-TEX® and GREENGUARD GOLD certified.

Eco-friendly

No PFCs are used in the manufacturing process of our products. PFCs are harmful to the environment which is why we practice a PFC-free production process. This also makes our products safe for everyone, especially the most vulnerable children and pets.

PFC free

In the composition of our products, the environment is at the forefront of our process. Fiqa uses 100% polyester, a strong material that is resistant to abrasion. By not using a blend of different materials, Fiqa fabrics can be easily recycled. Our fabrics also hold their shape for longer, even when exposed to heat. This limits the need to replace, ensuring durable products with a longer lifespan.

100% polyester

Fiqa fabrics are easy to clean with soap and water, without risk of damaging the product. The surface can be wiped with a damp cloth to quickly remove household stains such as coffee or wine. There is no additional after-treatment needed to maintain the performance features and keep the textiles looking great.

Easy care

For hygienic purposes, our fabrics can be washed in the washing machine at 60 degrees. After washing, you can use steam to rejuvenate the textile when needed.

Machine washable

For stubborn stains, you can use bleach to clean the fabric. Because Fiqa fibres are solution dyed, the bleach will not cause fading or discolouration of the fabric. This way, you are guaranteed an excellent colour fastness. Please always follow our care instructions.

Bleach cleanable

Our fabrics do not contain any chemicals that are harmful to pets, can easily be spot-cleaned and are machine washable. Muddy paw prints, drool and other dirt stains can be cleaned without any problem.

Pet-friendly

Whether you are using our fabrics indoors or outdoors, the water-repellent properties repel liquids perfectly. Water cannot damage the textile. When water is on the fabric, simply wipe with a clean cloth until dry.

Water repellent

Fiqa fabrics are resistant to discolouration and fading thanks to our solution-dyed yarns. This means that the yarns are coloured to the core with UV-stable pigments. Traditional dyeing processes only colour the surface of the fabric, meaning they easily fade as the colour is not locked into the yarns. Our textiles present the highest colour fastness for indoor and outdoor use.

UV resistant

Our products are resistant to stains and marks and prevents spills or liquids from penetrating the fabric. They are easily cleanable with a damp cloth, and by doing so maintain their fresh look for longer. Dirt such as dry soil can be brushed off easily. For more stubborn stains, please follow our cleaning instructions.

Stain resistant

All Fiqa fabrics are antimicrobial and resistant to mould and mildew. They combat the growth of microbes and bacteria that cause stains and unpleasant odours. Your textiles remain fresh and hygienic for longer, creating a healthy environment and less need for cleaning or replacing.

Antifungal

Our fabrics are resistant to salt water and therefore safe to use on boats and at the beach. No colour fading or reduced performance will occur when exposed to salt-rich seawater.

Seawater resistant

We make fabrics that are built to last. Our textiles are wear resistant, withstand abrasion and pilling, and achieve great results on the Martindale and Wyzenbeek tests according to severe contract standards. These results prove the long lifespan and durability of our upholstery products. As a result, Fiqa fabrics are perfect for residential use as well as contract applications, satisfying the most demanding markets.

Contract grade

We offer a limited warranty of 3 years on our Fiqa fabrics.

3-year warranty

One of the most innovative strengths of Fiqa is combining high-resistant properties with a soft and comfortable feel. Whether the fabrics are used indoors or outdoors, they provide a pleasant touch. There is not a hint of stickiness and it is never coarse or greasy.

Breathable

Thanks to our excellent abrasion scores, Fiqa textiles are extremely durable and can handle wear and tear. They are resistant to the high traffic of pets, preventing damage and pilling caused by jumping, scratching and excessive use.

The OEKO-TEX® certification is granted when internationally standardised criteria are met. To comply with the OEKO-TEX® standards, no harmful substances are used. This means that our products are safe for humans, pets and the environment. Fiqa obtained the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Class I certification.

Oeko-Tex®

Fiqa fabrics treated with our FR finish are IMO certified, meaning we pass the strict International Maritime Organization’s safety requirements for flammability on commercial ships. This certification allows us to guarantee fire safety on cruises, yachts and boats.
